Cathrin D’Entremont is an internationally published fine art wedding planner & stylist located in Perth, Western Australia. She shares one small thing with the most impact that every couple can do on their wedding day:

The wedding day is one of the busiest days in a bride and grooms’ life and it is gone in a flash.

Getting ready, ceremony, photos, eating, greeting and talking to guests all day and night, is truly exhausting.

I always build into my timeline Time Out session during the reception for my couples. 

I give them their favourite drink and send them off to be on their own for a little while. Even if it is only for 15 minutes. 

They can reflect what happened during the day and just have a moment to themselves.

Most of my couples find and remember this ‘Time Out’ session as an important part of their day – the much-needed break alone.
